Tom Spruyt (1992) - Drums and knobs were my favorite toys when I was five. Today, a quarter of a century later, they remain a daily source of inspiration and dedication for me. From 2007 onwards, I was fortunate enough to play and rehearse weekly with artists who can now be seen on both large and small stages. Jazz, rock, pop, and alternative electronic music were the primary styles I listened to and played as a drummer. Later, I started on an autodidactic journey into production and sound design, while also pursuing training as a sound technician. In 2019, I started using modular synthesizers, which now form the heart of my musical project AARDING: electronic music made with analog technology from before 1979. Throughout all those years, I consistently immersed myself in music production, sound design, and mixing, both in the digital and analog world. With this passion, I aim to serve the world by creating beauty, wonder, and optimal sound experiences. Artists who have strongly influenced my sound and development include Amon Tobin, Daniel Lanois, The Heliocentrics, Malcolm Catto,

Flying Lotus, Kraftwerk, and many others.
